Wehbba for Transform in LVL
With a string of chart-topping hits to his name and international success around the world, today Wehbba stands as one of Brazil's most widely-acclaimed and highly respected global ambassadors for techno. Serving the circuit's dance floors with dynamic productions, Wehbba champions a tenacious work ethic that stems from an innate dedication to developing his craft.
Over the years, Wehbba has unveiled a consistent stream of stand-out music to add to his discography, including three full-length albums that span the course of a decade. As well as chartering original releases via benchmark labels Drumcode, Mute, Kompakt, Exhale, Second State, 2020Vision, Bedrock, Hotflush and many more, and collaborating with artists such as Adam Beyer, Scuba, David Carretta, DJ Deeon and Christian Smith, Wehbba has worked on the remixes front with electronic music mainstays Martin Gore, Laurent Garnier, Luke Slater, Danny Tenaglia, Stephan Bodzin, Kevin Saunderson, John Digweed, Stacey Pullen, Joseph Capriati, ANNA, Jam&Spoon and Sam Paganini to name a few.
After the long-awaited move to Barcelona in 2015, further establishing his craft within Europe's competitive techno scene, Wehbba kept clocking countless studio hours whilst balancing festival and club gigs across every continent. But it was 2017 which marked a pivotal year in Wehbba's career, as he made his debut on Adam Beyer's Drumcode Records with "Fake"; part of the A-Sides Vol. 6 compilation, which kicked off a strong relationship spawning 4 top charting singles, 3 compilations and a remarkable full length artist album, not to mention becoming a staple on the label showcases around the world since then.
Behind the decks, Wehbba has enjoyed equal success with an ever increasing tour schedule, featuring on top festivals and clubs such as Sonar, Awakenings, Resistance, Warehouse Project, Fabric, Watergate, Warung, Brunch-In Barcelona, and countless others. When the whole world went into a halt in 2020, he kept the flame alive and the spirits up with impactful streamings on platforms such as Beatport and Mixmag, and building together with ANNA the much beloved Anaweh Studio Masterclass, a full blown production masterclass that gathered over 1500 students since it was released in November 2020.
2021 marked the debut of Wehbba's Live Station, a mind boggling hardware-only live show affair, where he explores his full range of production skills live on stage. After an astonishing debut performance at Family Piknic in Montpellier, Wehbba brought his Live Station to next level performances at Awakenings at the Gashouder in Amsterdam, at the Warehouse Project in Manchester and Brunch In The City in Barcelona to finish off the year in style, whilst making his debut at Sonar in Istanbul in early 2022 amongst some unforgettable club shows around Europe.
Looking to the future, 2022 sees Wehbba exploring his more creative side with new collaborations, remixes and live streamings, as well as heavily touring with his Live Station as he keeps developing the project with each performance.
